Join us for the 21st annual breakfast with the Commissioner, Steve Troxler. This benefit breakfast, a fundraiser for the Tobacco Farm Life Museum, serves as a platform to discuss agricultural issues, honor individuals contributing to the farming community, and support the museum’s mission to preserve the state’s rural heritage. The money raised from this breakfast supports the educational programming at the museum, which is not covered by the state’s budget.
When purchasing tickets by credit card, please choose “Other” in the fees section and type 0. This will keep you from paying credit card fees on your ticket purchase.
Support North Carolina’s farming heritage by sponsoring the Friends of the Tobacco Farm Life Museum’s Breakfast with the Commissioner! Sponsorships offer benefits like event recognition and tickets. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate agriculture and connect with the community. Deadline: January 16, 2025.
Due to renovations at the Holshouser Building at the Fairgrounds, Southern Farm Show Special Events this year—including the Breakfast with the Commissioner—will be held in a heated tent on the Fairgrounds. The tent will be located in the area typically used for the weekend Flea Market and is marked by a red box on the map. On Friday, Flea Market vendors will be setting up in the adjacent parking area; however, event attendees may park in the lot located in front of the Education Building, as shown at the bottom of the Google Maps image. Please enter the Fairgrounds at Gate 1 off Hillsborough Street.
